Indications
Iopzox Ofteno is indicated for the treatment of ocular hypertension in patients with open-angle glaucoma and in patients with ocular hypertension. Dorzolamide, its active ingredient, acts by inhibiting carbonic anhydrase, which reduces the production of aqueous humor in the eye, thus helping to lower intraocular pressure. It is important that the use of this medication be supervised by a physician, who will evaluate the suitability of the treatment and the patient's response to it.
Composition
Each ml of Iopzox Ofteno contains 20 mg of dorzolamide. In addition, it contains excipients that allow the proper formulation of the product, ensuring its stability and effectiveness.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to dorzolamide or any other component of the formula. Caution should also be exercised in patients with moderate to severe renal insufficiency, as drug elimination may be affected.
Precautions
Special care should be taken in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases or asthma, as dorzolamide can cause adverse effects in these conditions. Likewise, regular monitoring of intraocular pressure and the patient's ocular status is recommended during treatment.
Storage
Store at room temperature, between 15 and 30 degrees Celsius. Keep the bottle tightly closed and in a dry place. Do not use the product after the expiration date indicated on the package.
