Indications
Invictus (Tadalafil) is indicated for the treatment of erectile dysfunction in adult men. Erectile dysfunction is defined as the inability to achieve or maintain an erection sufficient for satisfactory sexual intercourse. Tadalafil works by increasing blood flow to the penis during sexual stimulation, which allows an erection to be achieved. It is important that the patient has sexual desire and that sexual stimulation occurs for the medication to be effective.
Composition
Each Invictus tablet contains 20 mg of Tadalafil as the active ingredient. It also contains excipients that facilitate the formulation and absorption of the medication.
Contraindications
Invictus is contraindicated in patients who are hypersensitive to Tadalafil or to any of the excipients present in the formulation. It should not be used in combination with nitrates or nitric oxide donors, as this can cause a significant decrease in blood pressure. Likewise, it is contraindicated in patients with severe cardiovascular diseases, severe hepatic insufficiency, or kidney problems requiring dialysis.
Precautions
Caution is recommended when using Invictus in patients with a history of cardiovascular diseases, such as recent myocardial infarction, unstable angina, or arrhythmias. Patients with anatomical deformities of the penis or conditions that may predispose to priapism should also be evaluated. It is essential to consult a doctor before starting treatment and during its use to evaluate the response and the appearance of adverse effects.
Storage
Invictus should be stored in a cool, dry place, protected from light and out of reach of children. The recommended storage temperature is 15 to 30 degrees Celsius.
