Indications
Inderalici III (Propranolol) is indicated for the treatment of high blood pressure. It is also used in the management of angina pectoris, as well as in the prevention of migraines. Its action is based on the inhibition of beta-adrenergic receptors, resulting in a decrease in heart rate and blood pressure. Furthermore, it is effective in the treatment of certain arrhythmias and in reducing anxiety symptoms in stressful situations, such as essential tremor.
Composition
Each Inderalici III tablet contains 10 mg of Propranolol as the active ingredient, as well as excipients that allow for the formulation of the medication.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with severe bradycardia, second and third-degree heart block, uncontrolled heart failure, and in those who have hypersensitivity to propranolol or any of the components of the formulation. Its use is not recommended in patients with bronchial asthma or chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases, as it can cause bronchospasm.
Precautions
Special care should be taken in patients with a history of cardiovascular diseases, diabetes mellitus, and in those who are being treated with other antihypertensives. It is important to monitor renal and hepatic function before and during treatment. In elderly patients, an adjustment in the initial dose is suggested to avoid adverse effects.
Storage
Store at room temperature, between 15 and 30 degrees Celsius, in a dry place and away from direct light. Keep out of reach of children.
