Indications
Immunorho is indicated for the prophylaxis of hemolytic disease of the newborn due to Rh (D) incompatibility between the mother and the fetus. It is also used to prevent sensitization in Rh-negative women who have had a pregnancy or spontaneous abortion, as well as in situations of risk of exposure to Rh-positive blood, such as blood transfusions or invasive procedures during pregnancy.
This medication works by neutralizing Rh antibodies that may be present in the mother, thus preventing the possible hemolysis of fetal red blood cells and, consequently, serious complications such as fetal anemia or neonatal jaundice. It is important to administer Immunorho within the appropriate period to maximize its effectiveness, generally within 72 hours after the event that generates the risk of sensitization.
Composition
Each Immunorho ampule contains 300 mcg of Human Anti-D Immunoglobulin, in addition to excipients that facilitate its formulation and administration.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to human immunoglobulin or to any of the components of the formulation. It should not be administered in cases of established hemolytic anemia or in patients who have received blood transfusions containing Rh-positive antigens without adequate evaluation.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of allergic reactions to blood products. Careful monitoring of the patient after administration is recommended, especially in women who have received previous transfusions. It is also essential to perform compatibility tests before administration in situations that require it.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature between 2°C and 8°C. Do not freeze. Keep out of reach of children.
