Indications
Imjudo (Tremelimumab) is indicated for the treatment of adult patients with advanced non-small cell lung carcinoma (NSCLC) who have received at least one prior line of treatment. It is also indicated for the treatment of advanced or metastatic melanoma. This medicine acts as an immune checkpoint inhibitor, helping to improve the body's immune response against cancer cells. Tremelimumab administration has been shown to contribute to tumor size reduction in some patients, as well as an improvement in overall survival.
Composition
Each vial contains: 300 mg of Tremelimumab in 15 ml of solution, in addition to excipients that allow for the preservation and stability of the product.
Contraindications
This medicine is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Tremelimumab or to any of the excipients. It should not be administered to patients with a history of severe allergic reactions to other immunomodulatory drugs or similar treatments.
Precautions
Caution is recommended when administering Imjudo to patients with active autoimmune diseases or a history of such diseases. Furthermore, special care should be taken in patients with active infections, as the medicine may affect the immune response. The patient should be monitored for possible adverse reactions during and after administration.
Storage
Store in refrigeration between 2 °C and 8 °C. Do not freeze. Keep out of reach of children.
