Indications

Iltux2Hct is indicated for the treatment of arterial hypertension in adults. The combination of Olmesartan and Hydrochlorothiazide acts synergistically to lower blood pressure by relaxing blood vessels and reducing fluid volume in the body. This medication can be used as initial therapy or in patients who do not achieve blood pressure control with monotherapy. Regular blood pressure monitoring and dose adjustment as needed are important.

Composition

Each Iltux2Hct tablet contains 40 mg of Olmesartan medoxomil and 12.5 mg of Hydrochlorothiazide as active ingredients. It also contains excipients that facilitate the formulation and stability of the medication.

Contraindications

This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula. It should also be avoided in patients with a history of angioedema associated with previous treatments with angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors (ACEIs) or angiotensin receptor blockers. Its use is not recommended in cases of severe renal insufficiency or in patients with severe dehydration.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of liver disease, electrolyte imbalance, diabetes mellitus, or cardiovascular disease. Monitoring potassium levels and renal function during treatment is recommended. This medication should not be used during pregnancy or lactation unless strictly necessary and under medical supervision.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
