Indications

Iltux 2Hct is indicated for the treatment of essential hypertension in adults. The combination of olmesartan and hydrochlorothiazide acts through complementary mechanisms, providing an effective antihypertensive effect. Its use is recommended in patients who do not achieve adequate blood pressure control with monotherapy. Furthermore, it may be beneficial in those with resistant hypertension. This medication can be used as first-line therapy or as additional treatment in patients with comorbid conditions that require blood pressure management.

Composition

Each tablet contains: Olmesartan medoxomil 40 mg and hydrochlorothiazide 12.5 mg.

Contraindications

It is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula, as well as in those with a history of angioedema associated with treatment with angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors (ACEIs). It is also contraindicated in patients with severe renal insufficiency and in those with significant electrolyte imbalances.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of liver disease, renal insufficiency, or those undergoing diuretic treatment. Monitoring of potassium levels and renal function is recommended in patients on long-term treatment. Its use is not recommended in pregnant or breastfeeding women without medical supervision.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.

  1. Free home delivery by local branches on orders over $1000. Otherwise, a $50 fee will be added in the cities of Querétaro and La Paz, BCS, and $150 in San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, BCS.

Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
  3. In case of oversized items, the corresponding fee will apply according to the parcel service.
