Indications
Ilimit 24/4 is a hormonal contraceptive indicated for pregnancy prevention. Its formulation combines Drospirenone and Ethinylestradiol, two hormones that help regulate the menstrual cycle and prevent ovulation. This medication is especially indicated for women who desire an effective contraceptive method and who also seek additional benefits such as menstrual cycle regulation and reduction of premenstrual symptoms. Composition
Each Ilimit 24/4 tablet contains 3 mg of Drospirenone and 0.02 mg of Ethinylestradiol, in addition to excipients that facilitate the medication's formulation.
Contraindications
Ilimit 24/4 is contraindicated in women with a history of venous or arterial thromboembolism, severe coagulation disorders, severe liver diseases, breast or genital organ cancer, as well as in those who are hypersensitive to any of the medication's components. It should not be used in women with undiagnosed vaginal bleeding.
Precautions
Caution is recommended in women with a history of cardiovascular problems, hypertension, diabetes mellitus, or who smoke, especially those over 35 years of age. It is essential to consult a doctor before starting treatment if pre-existing health conditions are present or if other medications that may interact with Ilimit 24/4 are being taken.
