Indications
Iliadin Ad Spray 0.05% is indicated for the temporary relief of nasal congestion caused by colds, sinusitis, or allergies. Oxymetazoline acts as a vasoconstrictor that reduces swelling in the nasal membranes, providing rapid relief from congestion. This medication is suitable for adults and children over six years of age. Its use is recommended for nasal decongestion before minor surgical procedures in the nasal cavity. It can also be used to relieve congestion in patients with allergic rhinitis.
Composition
Each 100 ml of Iliadin Ad Spray contains: Oxymetazoline hydrochloride 0.05% as active ingredient. Excipients: purified water, sodium chloride, and hydrochloric acid.
Contraindications
Iliadin Ad Spray is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to oxymetazoline or any of the excipients in the formulation. It should not be used in patients with atrophy of the nasal mucosa, as well as in those receiving treatment with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs).
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with cardiovascular diseases, hypertension, diabetes mellitus, hyperthyroidism, and in those with a history of rhinitis medicamentosa. Prolonged use of the product may cause a rebound effect and worsen nasal congestion. Do not exceed the recommended dose and avoid continuous use for more than five days without medical supervision.
Storage
Store at room temperature, between 15°C and 30°C. Keep the bottle tightly closed and out of reach of children.
