Indications
Iberogast is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of various gastrointestinal conditions. It is especially useful for reducing symptoms associated with dyspepsia, such as abdominal pain, feeling of fullness, nausea, and vomiting. Additionally, it is used in the management of functional disorders of the gastrointestinal tract, such as irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). The combination of plant extracts in its formulation provides a synergistic effect that helps relieve intestinal cramps and improves gastrointestinal motility. Its use is recommended for adults and children over 12 years of age, subject to appropriate medical evaluation.
Composition
Each 100 ml of Iberogast contains:
- Ipecac root extract (Psychotria ipecacuanha) 0.4 ml
- Peppermint leaf extract (Mentha piperita) 0.2 ml
- Licorice root extract (Glycyrrhiza glabra) 0.2 ml
- Chamomile flower extract (Matricaria chamomilla) 0.2 ml
- Angelica root extract (Angelica archangelica) 0.2 ml
- Cumin seed extract (Cuminum cyminum) 0.2 ml
- Cardamom root extract (Elettaria cardamomum) 0.1 ml
- Yarrow flower extract (Achillea millefolium) 0.1 ml
Contraindications
Iberogast is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula. Its use is not recommended for people with intestinal obstruction or a history of active peptic ulcer.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of liver or kidney disease. In case of persistent symptoms or worsening, a doctor should be consulted. Its use is not recommended during pregnancy and lactation, unless indicated by a healthcare professional.

Store in a cool, dry place, protected from light. Keep out of reach of children.

- Free home delivery by local branches on orders over $1000. Otherwise, a $50 fee will be added in the cities of Querétaro and La Paz, BCS, and $150 in San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, BCS.
- FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
