Indications
Histiacil Nf Inf Syrup is indicated for the treatment of dry cough and productive cough. Its formulation combines dextromethorphan, an antitussive that acts on the cough center in the brain, and ambroxol, a mucolytic that helps to thin and clear bronchial secretions. This medication is recommended in cases of acute respiratory infections, bronchitis, and other respiratory disorders that involve coughing.
Composition
Each 5 ml of syrup contains: Dextromethorphan (113 mg) and Ambroxol (150 mg). Excipients: Purified water, sorbitol, fruit flavor, among others.
Contraindications
Histiacil Nf Inf Syrup is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula, as well as in those with a history of substance abuse. It is also contraindicated in patients with severe respiratory diseases that compromise respiratory function or in those who present with a cough with abundant expectoration.
Precautions
It is recommended to use with caution in patients with liver or kidney diseases. Likewise, the possibility of interactions with other medications should be considered. It should not be administered in combination with other antitussives without adequate medical supervision.
Storage
Store at room temperature, between 15 and 30 °C, in a dry place protected from light. Keep out of reach of children.
