Indications
Histiacil Fam Inf Syrup is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of productive cough, facilitating the expulsion of bronchial secretions. It is useful in conditions where cough is accompanied by bronchial congestion and mucus production, such as common colds, acute bronchitis, and other respiratory infections. Guaifenesin acts as an expectorant, while oxolamine has antitussive properties, providing effective symptom relief.
Composition
Each 100 mL of syrup contains:
- Guaifenesin: 2 g
- Oxolamine: 1 g
Contraindications
Histiacil Fam Inf Syrup is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula. It should also be avoided in patients with a history of severe allergic reactions and in those with severe respiratory problems, such as uncontrolled bronchial asthma.
Precautions
Caution is recommended in patients with liver or kidney diseases. It should not be used in children under 2 years of age without a doctor's supervision. Concomitant use with other medications containing similar active ingredients should be avoided, unless otherwise directed by a healthcare professional. If symptoms persist for more than 5 days, a doctor should be consulted.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 25 °C. Keep out of reach of children.

Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
