Indications
Histiacil Fam Ad Syrup is indicated for the treatment of productive and non-productive cough. It is used to relieve symptoms associated with respiratory conditions involving cough, such as colds, bronchitis, and other respiratory disorders. The combination of guaifenesin and oxolamine helps reduce mucus viscosity, facilitating its expulsion and relieving airway irritation. Additionally, oxolamine acts as an antitussive, reducing the need to cough. Its use is recommended for patients experiencing respiratory discomfort as part of a comprehensive treatment.
Composition
Each 100 ml of syrup contains: 2 g of guaifenesin and 1 g of oxolamine. Excipients: sorbitol, citric acid, sodium benzoate, and purified water.
Contraindications
Histiacil Fam Ad Syrup is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula. Its use in patients with severe liver or kidney disease, as well as in those with a history of severe allergic reactions, should be evaluated by a physician. Its use is not recommended in children under 2 years of age without the supervision of a healthcare professional.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), or diseases affecting respiratory function. It is recommended to consult a doctor before starting treatment in patients who are taking other medications, especially those acting on the central nervous system.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. Keep out of reach of children.
