Indications
Haldol (Haloperidol) is indicated for the treatment of psychotic disorders, including schizophrenia and delusional disorder. It is also used in the management of agitation and aggression in patients with behavioral disorders. Likewise, it may be indicated in the treatment of severe nausea and vomiting associated with chemotherapy or radiotherapy, as well as in the treatment of tics and behavioral disorders in patients with Tourette's syndrome. Its use must be evaluated and monitored by a physician, considering the particular characteristics of each patient.
Composition
Each Haldol tablet contains 5 mg of Haloperidol as the active ingredient. Excipients: stearic acid, starch, lactose, among others.
Contraindications
Haldol is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to Haloperidol or to any of the excipients in the formulation. Its use is not recommended in patients with Parkinson's disease, coma, severe central nervous system depression, and in those who are being treated with other antipsychotics or medications that may cause QT interval prolongation.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when administering Haldol to patients with a history of cardiovascular disease, epilepsy, or those who may be at risk of dehydration or electrolyte disturbances. Regular monitoring of blood pressure and central nervous system status is advisable. It is also important to be careful in elderly patients, as they may be more susceptible to adverse effects.

Store at room temperature, between 15 and 30 °C. Keep out of reach of children and protect from light and moisture.
