Indications
Gynovin is indicated for the prevention of pregnancy. This medication is a hormonal contraceptive that works by inhibiting ovulation, altering cervical mucus, and modifying the endometrium, which makes it difficult for a fertilized egg to implant. Gynovin is recommended for use in women of childbearing age who desire an effective contraceptive method and who do not have contraindications for the use of combined contraceptives.
Composition
Each Gynovin tablet contains: 75 mcg of Gestodene and 20 mcg of Ethinylestradiol, in addition to the necessary excipients for the formulation of the medication.
Contraindications
Gynovin should not be used in women who have: a history of venous or arterial thrombosis, cardiovascular diseases, hormone-dependent tumors, undiagnosed vaginal bleeding, or hypersensitivity to any of the medication's components. Additionally, its use is not recommended during pregnancy and lactation.
Precautions
It is important to carry out a medical evaluation prior to starting treatment with Gynovin, including a complete medical history and physical examinations. Pre-existing health conditions, such as hypertension, diabetes, or migraine, which may increase the risk of adverse effects, should be considered. Regular monitoring is recommended during the use of the medication.
Storage
Gynovin should be stored in a cool, dry place, protected from light and out of reach of children. The expiration date indicated on the package must be respected.
