Graneodin B is a medicine indicated for the temporary relief of throat pain and irritation. It is especially useful in the treatment of conditions affecting the pharynx and larynx, such as pharyngitis, laryngitis, and minor discomfort caused by colds or allergies. Benzocaine acts as a local anesthetic that helps numb the affected area, providing fast and effective relief. Its use is recommended for adults and children over 6 years of age, following the instructions of a doctor or pharmacist.
Composition
Each Graneodin B lozenge contains 10 mg of benzocaine as the active ingredient. It also contains excipients that facilitate its formulation and administration.
Contraindications
Graneodin B is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to benzocaine or any of the components of the formula. Its use is not recommended in children under 6 years of age or in patients with severe respiratory problems or a history of methemoglobinemia.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of allergic reactions to local anesthetics. It is advisable not to exceed the recommended dose and to avoid prolonged use of the product.
