Indications
Gotinal Ad Spray is indicated for the temporary relief of nasal congestion associated with colds, allergic rhinitis, and sinusitis. Its vasoconstrictive action provides a rapid and effective effect, facilitating breathing by reducing the swelling of the nasal mucous membranes. It is useful in the treatment of postoperative nasal congestion and in cases of allergic otitis media. Its use for prolonged periods is not recommended due to the possibility of developing rhinitis medicamentosa.
Composition
Each milliliter of Gotinal Ad Spray contains 1 mg of naphazoline as the active ingredient. Excipients: purified water, sodium chloride, and other excipients necessary for the product's formulation.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to naphazoline or to any of the components of the formula. It should not be used in patients with severe cardiovascular diseases, uncontrolled hypertension, or those who are under treatment with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs).
Precautions
Caution is recommended in patients with diabetes mellitus, thyroid disease, or those with a history of cardiovascular disease. In case of pregnancy or lactation, consult your doctor before using this medication. Prolonged use of the product should be avoided to prevent rhinitis medicamentosa.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, protected from light and out of the reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the packaging.
