Indications

Geslutin is indicated for the treatment of various disorders related to progesterone deficiency, such as:

• Menstrual disorders, including secondary amenorrhea.
• Menopause, as part of hormone replacement therapy.
• Support in fertility treatments, in combination with other medications.
• Prevention of endometrial hyperplasia in women with an intact uterus who are receiving estrogens.
• Treatment of certain types of endometrial and breast cancer, in combination with other therapeutic agents.

Composition

Each Geslutin capsule contains:

• Progesterone: 100 mg
• Excipients: Any excipients necessary for the capsule's formulation.

Contraindications

Geslutin should not be used in the following cases:

• Known hypersensitivity to progesterone or to any of the product's excipients.
• Active thromboembolic disorders or history of thrombosis.
• Vaginal bleeding of unknown cause.
• Untreated hormone-dependent neoplasms, such as breast cancer.
• Severe hepatic insufficiency.

Precautions

Geslutin is recommended for use with caution in the following cases:

• Patients with a history of severe depression.
• History of migraines or severe headaches.
• Cardiovascular disorders or uncontrolled hypertension.
• Diabetes mellitus, especially if there are vascular complications.

Store Geslutin in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Protect from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
