Indications

Genotropin Go Quick is indicated for the treatment of growth hormone deficiency in children and adults. In children, it is used to treat insufficient growth due to growth hormone deficiency or associated conditions such as Turner syndrome or chronic kidney disease. In adults, it is prescribed in cases of diagnosed growth hormone deficiency, which may arise after pituitary disease or from previous treatments that affect hormone production. It can also be used in the treatment of muscle mass loss in patients with HIV/AIDS and in the management of certain aging-related conditions.

Composition

Each Genotropin Go Quick pen contains somatropin (recombinant DNA) at a dose of 12 mg. Excipients: mannitol, acetic acid, sodium hydroxide, water for injection.

Contraindications

The use of Genotropin is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to somatropin or to any of the excipients in the formulation. It is also contraindicated in patients with active tumors, malignant lesions, or critical illnesses requiring intensive treatment. It should not be used in patients with uncontrolled diabetes mellitus.

Precautions

Regular monitoring of blood glucose levels is recommended, especially in patients with a history of diabetes. It is important to evaluate thyroid function before and during treatment. Additionally, caution should be exercised when used in patients with severe illnesses or conditions that could affect bone growth.

Storage

Genotropin Go Quick should be stored refrigerated between 2°C and 8°C. Do not freeze. Once opened, it can be used for up to 28 days at room temperature, provided it does not exceed 25°C. Keep out of reach of children.
