Indications
Gelan Plus Gel is indicated for the treatment of gastric hyperacidity and the relief of related symptoms such as heartburn, acid regurgitation, and stomach upset. Its formulation combines magaldrate, an antacid that neutralizes excess stomach acid, and dimethicone, which helps reduce gas bubble formation, thereby alleviating abdominal distension and associated discomfort.
Composition
Each 100 ml of Gelan Plus Gel contains:
- Magaldrate: 8 g
- Dimethicone: 1 g
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any component of the formula. It should not be used in cases of intestinal obstruction or gastrointestinal perforation. Its use is not recommended in patients with severe renal insufficiency without adequate medical supervision.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of kidney disease, as prolonged use may alter acid-base balance. It is advisable to consult a doctor before starting treatment if persistent or severe symptoms occur. Furthermore, concomitant use with other medications should be avoided without appropriate medical evaluation to prevent interactions.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children and do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.

- FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
