Indications

Gargax 2.5% Solution is indicated for the temporary relief of sore throat pain and other irritations of the oral mucosa, such as canker sores and minor mouth lesions. Its local anesthetic action provides a rapid effect that helps reduce discomfort and malaise in patients suffering from these conditions. This product is especially useful in cases of pharyngitis, laryngitis, and other disorders related to inflammation of the oral and pharyngeal mucosa.

Composition

Each 100 mL of Gargax Solution contains 2.5 g of benzocaine as the active ingredient. Additionally, it contains excipients that facilitate its formulation and stability.

Contraindications

This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to benzocaine or any other component of the formula. It should not be used in patients with severe inflammation or ulceration of the oral mucosa.

Precautions

Caution is recommended in patients with a history of allergic reactions to other local anesthetics. Do not apply to large areas of the oral mucosa or open wounds, as this may increase the risk of systemic absorption of the drug. Avoid use in children under 2 years of age, unless directed by a doctor. If symptoms persist, a doctor should be consulted.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children and do not use after the expiration date indicated on the packaging.
