Indications

Galvus Met is indicated for the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults. Its use is indicated in patients whose disease cannot be adequately controlled with diet and exercise. This medication is used as dual therapy in combination with other oral antidiabetics or as a monotherapy in cases where metformin is not sufficient. The combination of vildagliptin and metformin helps control blood glucose levels, improving treatment efficacy in patients with insulin resistance. It is important that the use of Galvus Met is complemented by a diet and physical activity plan.

Composition

Each Galvus Met tablet contains: 50 mg of vildagliptin and 1000 mg of metformin. Excipients: microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, among others.

Contraindications

Galvus Met is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to any of the formula's components, severe renal failure, diabetic ketoacidosis, conditions predisposing to lactic acidosis, and in patients with severe infections or dehydration. It is also contraindicated in pregnant or breastfeeding women.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised when administering Galvus Met to patients with a history of pancreatitis, liver failure, or cardiovascular disease. Regular monitoring of renal function and blood glucose levels is recommended. Treatment should not be stopped abruptly without proper medical supervision.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. Keep out of reach of children.

  1. Free home delivery by local branches on orders over $1000. Otherwise, a $50 fee will be added in the cities of Querétaro and La Paz, BCS, and $150 in San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, BCS.

Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
