Indications

Gaap Ofteno (Latanoprost) is indicated for the treatment of elevated intraocular pressure in patients with open-angle glaucoma and ocular hypertension. Latanoprost's mechanism of action involves increasing the outflow of aqueous humor, resulting in a decrease in intraocular pressure. This medication can be used as monotherapy or in combination with other ocular antihypertensive drugs.

Composition

Each ml of Gaap Ofteno contains 0.05 mg of Latanoprost, as well as excipients that facilitate its formulation and stability. It is important to review the complete list of components to identify any substances to which the patient may be allergic.

Contraindications

Gaap Ofteno is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Latanoprost or any of the excipients in the formula. It should not be administered in cases of active inflammation in the eye, such as uveitis, or in patients with a history of ocular herpes simplex.

Precautions

Caution is recommended in patients with a history of respiratory problems, especially severe bronchial asthma. Additionally, care should be taken in patients with pre-existing eye conditions. It is important to regularly assess treatment effectiveness and intraocular pressure.

Storage

Store at temperatures not exceeding 25 °C. Keep the bottle tightly closed and protect from light. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.

  1. Free home delivery by local branches on orders over $1000. Otherwise, a $50 fee will be added in the cities of Querétaro and La Paz, BCS, and $150 in San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, BCS.
  2. FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
