Indications
Fucidin Cream is indicated for the treatment of superficial bacterial skin infections, including impetigo, folliculitis, and other infections caused by microorganisms susceptible to fusidic acid. It is also used in the treatment of dermatitis and infected wounds. Its antibacterial action helps reduce the microbial load on the affected skin, promoting healing.
Composition
Each 100 g of Fucidin Cream contains 2 g of fusidic acid as an active ingredient. Additionally, it contains excipients such as purified water, benzoic acid, and other components that facilitate its topical application.
Contraindications
It is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to fusidic acid or any of the components of the formula. Its use is not recommended for fungal or viral infections, and it should not be applied to large areas of the skin, deep wounds, or burns.
Precautions
It should be used with caution in patients with a history of dermatitis or skin irritation. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. In case of irritation or adverse reaction, treatment should be discontinued and a doctor consulted. Prolonged use without medical supervision is not recommended.
Storage
Store at room temperature, between 15 and 30 °C, in a dry place protected from light. Keep out of reach of children.
