Indications
Fresubin Pls is a nutritional supplement designed for the management of malnutrition or the risk of malnutrition in patients requiring additional nutritional support. It is indicated for patients with chronic diseases, who experience involuntary weight loss, as well as those who are in post-operative recovery conditions. This product is formulated to provide a concentrated source of energy and nutrients, being suitable for use in different stages of life, including adults and geriatric patients.
Its use is recommended in situations where oral intake is not sufficient to meet the patient's nutritional needs, such as in cases of gastrointestinal diseases, metabolic disorders or situations of physiological stress.
Composition
Fresubin Pls contains a balanced mixture of carbohydrates, proteins, fats, vitamins, and minerals that help provide complete nutrition. Additionally, its formula includes dietary fiber which can contribute to intestinal health.
Contraindications
This product should not be used in patients with known allergies to any of its components. It is also contraindicated in cases of galactosemia, and in patients with lactose intolerance if the product contains lactose. It should not be administered as the sole source of nutrition in patients with conditions requiring intravenous feeding.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with severe kidney or liver diseases, as well as in those with diabetes, as the formulation may contain sugars. It is important to monitor blood glucose levels in these cases. Furthermore, medical supervision is recommended for prolonged use of the product.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place at room temperature, protected from direct light. Once opened, the bottle should be refrigerated and consumed within 24 hours.

- Free home delivery by local branches on orders over $1000. Otherwise, a $50 fee will be added in the cities of Querétaro and La Paz, BCS, and $150 in San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, BCS.
- FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
