Indications
Flumetol Nf Drops are indicated for the treatment of various inflammatory eye conditions, such as allergic conjunctivitis, keratitis, and other conditions requiring the use of corticosteroids to control inflammation and relieve associated symptoms. This medication is useful in the management of post-surgical inflammation and in the treatment of ocular diseases with a significant inflammatory component. It is recommended that the use of this medication be supervised by a healthcare professional to ensure its correct application and treatment follow-up.
Composition
Each 1 ml of Flumetol Nf Drops contains 10 mg of fluorometholone as the active ingredient. Excipients: sodium chloride, purified water, and other necessary components for the eye drop formulation.
Contraindications
Flumetol Nf Drops are contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to fluorometholone or to any of the components of the formulation. Its use is not recommended in viral, fungal, or tuberculous eye infections, nor in patients with ocular herpes simplex. This medication should not be used during pregnancy and lactation, unless the physician deems it absolutely necessary.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of glaucoma or cataracts, as prolonged use of corticosteroids may aggravate these conditions. Self-medication should also be avoided, and the doctor's instructions regarding the duration of treatment should be followed. In case of adverse effects, discontinue use and consult a doctor.
Storage
Store at room temperature, protected from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use the product after the expiry date indicated on the packaging.
