Indications
Flemigor is indicated for the relief of symptoms associated with respiratory infections, such as dry cough, nasal congestion, and excessive mucus production. Guaifenesin acts as an expectorant that facilitates the expulsion of bronchial secretions, while Phenylephrine is a decongestant that helps reduce swelling and nasal congestion. Dextromethorphan acts as a cough suppressant, providing effective relief in cases of persistent cough. This medication is designed for the symptomatic treatment of acute and chronic respiratory conditions, thereby facilitating breathing and improving patient well-being.
Composition
Each 100 ml of Flemigor contains: Guaifenesin 2 g, Phenylephrine 100 mg, Dextromethorphan 200 mg.
Contraindications
Flemigor should not be used in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula. It is also contraindicated in patients taking monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) or in those with severe cardiovascular diseases, uncontrolled hypertension, or severe respiratory problems.
Precautions
Caution is recommended in patients with a history of heart disease, hypertension, diabetes, or thyroid diseases. Prolonged use of the medication without medical supervision can be harmful. Its use is not recommended in children under 12 years of age without a doctor's indication.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at room temperature, out of reach of children. Avoid exposure to direct light. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the packaging.
