Indications

Flanax (Naproxen Sodium) is indicated for the treatment of various conditions that cause pain and inflammation. It is used in the management of painful processes such as rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, and dysmenorrhea. It is also effective in the treatment of muscle pain, headache, and other acute and chronic painful conditions. Naproxen Sodium acts by inhibiting the synthesis of prostaglandins, which are responsible for inflammation and pain.

Composition

Each Flanax tablet contains 660 mg of Naproxen Sodium as the active ingredient. It also contains excipients that facilitate the formulation and administration of the medication.

Contraindications

Flanax is contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to Naproxen or other NSAIDs (nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs). It should not be administered to patients with active peptic ulcer, severe renal insufficiency, or those with gastrointestinal bleeding. It is also contraindicated in the third trimester of pregnancy.

Precautions

Flanax should be used with caution in patients with a history of gastrointestinal diseases, asthma, heart failure, or liver problems. The risk of adverse effects should be assessed in elderly patients or those taking other medications that may interact with Naproxen. Medical follow-up is important during prolonged treatment.

Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
