Indications
Flanax is indicated for the treatment of mild to moderate pain, including headache, dental pain, menstrual pain, and muscle pain. It is also used for the relief of symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis, as well as for reducing inflammation and fever. Its anti-inflammatory action makes it suitable for the management of acute and chronic inflammatory conditions.
Composition
Each Flanax tablet contains 550 mg of naproxen as the active ingredient. Excipients: corn starch, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, among others.
Contraindications
Flanax is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to naproxen or any of the excipients in the formula. It should not be administered to patients with a history of active gastric or duodenal ulcers, severe renal insufficiency, or those with uncontrolled cardiovascular diseases. Its use in the third trimester of pregnancy is also contraindicated.
Precautions
Caution is recommended in patients with a history of gastrointestinal diseases, as well as those with renal or hepatic insufficiency. The risk-benefit ratio should be evaluated in individuals with arterial hypertension or heart disease. Prolonged use of naproxen can cause adverse effects on the gastrointestinal system, including bleeding. Renal and hepatic function should be monitored during prolonged treatments.
Storage
Store at room temperature, between 15 and 30 °C. Keep in a dry place and away from direct light. Keep out of reach of children.
