Indications
Flagenase Vg is indicated for the treatment of vaginal infections caused by organisms sensitive to its components, including infections by anaerobic microorganisms, as well as fungal infections that can cause vaginitis. It is especially effective in the treatment of bacterial vaginosis and vaginal candidiasis. It is recommended that the use of the medication be under medical supervision, considering the patient's medical history and the possible interaction with other drugs.
Composition
Each vaginal capsule contains: Metronidazole 500 mg and Nystatin 100,000 units. Excipients: Lactose, starch and other excipients necessary for the capsule formulation.
Contraindications
Flagenase Vg should not be used in patients with hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula. Likewise, it is contraindicated in pregnant or breastfeeding women without adequate medical supervision. Its use is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease or renal insufficiency.
Precautions
It is important to make an accurate diagnosis before using Flagenase Vg. Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of neurological disorders, as well as those who are being treated with anticoagulants. It is recommended to avoid use during menstruation, to ensure better treatment efficacy.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
