Indications
Flagenase is indicated for the treatment of various bacterial and parasitic infections. It is effective in the management of gastrointestinal tract infections, gynecological infections such as bacterial vaginosis, as well as protozoan infections such as amebiasis. It is also used in the treatment of Helicobacter pylori infections in combination with other antibacterial agents. Metronidazole should be administered according to medical indications and at the established dosage, as incorrect use can lead to bacterial resistance.
Composition
Each Flagenase tablet contains 250 mg of Metronidazole as the active ingredient, as well as excipients that allow for its formulation and stability.
Contraindications
Flagenase is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Metronidazole or any of the excipients in the formulation. It should not be used during the first trimester of pregnancy and in breastfeeding women without the corresponding medical indication.
Precautions
Caution is recommended in patients with a history of liver diseases, neurological disorders, and those who consume alcohol, as it may cause adverse reactions. Likewise, it is suggested to monitor patients who are receiving concomitant treatment with oral anticoagulants and other drugs that may interact.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
