Indications
Fenabbott is indicated for the treatment of seizure disorders, including epilepsy and convulsive seizures. It is also used in the management of anxiety and insomnia in specific situations, as well as in the control of febrile seizures in children. Phenobarbital acts as a central nervous system depressant, helping to decrease the electrical activity in the brain that can cause seizures. Its use must be supervised by a physician, who will determine the dose and duration of treatment according to the patient's needs.
Composition
Each Fenabbott tablet contains: Phenobarbital 100 mg, excipients necessary for the formulation of the medicine.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to phenobarbital or any other component of the product. It should not be administered in cases of acute intermittent porphyria, severe respiratory insufficiency, or in patients with a history of substance abuse or dependence. Its use in combination with other central nervous system depressants should be carefully evaluated.
Precautions
Caution is recommended in patients with a history of liver, kidney, or lung diseases. Likewise, caution should be exercised with prolonged use, as it can lead to dependence. During treatment, the patient's clinical response should be monitored and the dose adjusted as necessary. In elderly or debilitated patients, it is recommended to start treatment with lower doses to avoid adverse effects.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children and protected from light.
