Indications

Evocs III is indicated for the treatment of bacterial infections in various locations, including but not limited to: respiratory tract infections, such as community-acquired pneumonia and acute exacerbations of chronic bronchitis; urinary tract infections, including pyelonephritis; skin and soft tissue infections; and other types of infections caused by microorganisms sensitive to levofloxacin. Its use should be considered when infections are caused by susceptible bacteria and when more common antibiotics are not appropriate. It is important to make an accurate diagnosis and prescribe the corresponding treatment.

Composition

Each tablet contains 750 mg of levofloxacin as the active ingredient, as well as excipients necessary for the tablet formulation.

Contraindications

Evocs III is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to levofloxacin or other fluoroquinolone antibiotics. It should not be administered to patients with a history of tendinitis or tendon rupture associated with fluoroquinolone use. It is also contraindicated in pregnant and lactating women, as well as in children and adolescents during their growth phase.

Precautions

Caution is recommended when used in patients with a history of central nervous system disorders, as well as in those with renal insufficiency. The risk of adverse effects should be carefully evaluated in elderly patients, who may be more susceptible to adverse reactions. Excessive exposure to sunlight or UV lamps should be avoided during treatment, as it may increase the risk of skin reactions.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, protected from light and out of the reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
