Indications

Everest is indicated for the treatment and control of asthma symptoms in adult and pediatric patients, as well as for the prevention of exercise-induced asthmatic episodes. Additionally, it is used in the management of seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis, relieving symptoms such as nasal congestion, sneezing, and itching. This medication works by blocking leukotriene receptors, substances that contribute to inflammation and constriction of the airways, thereby improving lung function and the quality of life of patients.

Composition

Each Everest tablet contains 4 mg of montelukast, as well as the excipients necessary for the product's formulation.

Contraindications

Everest is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to montelukast or any of the excipients in the formulation. Its use is not recommended in patients with severe liver diseases.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised when administering Everest to patients with a history of psychiatric disorders, as adverse effects related to behavioral changes and aggression have been reported. Likewise, it is recommended to monitor patients receiving this treatment, especially children.

Storage

Store in a dry and cool place at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children and do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.

  1. Free home delivery by local branches on orders over $1000. Otherwise, a $50 fee will be added in the cities of Querétaro and La Paz, BCS, and $150 in San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, BCS.
