Indications
Euthyrox is indicated for the treatment of hypothyroidism, a condition in which the thyroid gland does not produce enough hormones. Levothyroxine sodium, its active ingredient, helps restore adequate hormone levels, thus improving metabolism and overall body function. It is also used in the suppression of thyroid tissue in patients with goiter or thyroid cancer, as well as in the treatment of certain pituitary conditions. The dosage must be adjusted for each patient, considering factors such as age, body weight, severity of hypothyroidism, and clinical response.
Composition
Each Euthyrox tablet contains 200 mcg of levothyroxine sodium as the active ingredient. Additionally, it contains excipients that facilitate its formulation and stability.
Contraindications
Euthyrox is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to levothyroxine sodium or to any of the excipients in the formula. It is also contraindicated in cases of acute myocardial infarction, untreated thyrotoxicosis, and in patients with untreated adrenal disease. It is important to perform an adequate medical evaluation before starting treatment.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with cardiovascular diseases, uncontrolled hypertension, diabetes mellitus, or intestinal absorption disorders. It is vital to follow the doctor's instructions regarding dosage and monitoring of hormone levels during treatment to avoid adverse effects.
Storage
Store Euthyrox in a cool, dry place, at a temperature below 30°C. Keep out of reach of children and do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.

- FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
