Indications
Eutirox is indicated for the treatment of hypothyroidism, including primary and secondary hypothyroidism. It is also used in the treatment of goiter, as well as in the suppression of thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) production in the treatment of certain types of thyroid cancer. This medication is essential for the normalization of hormone levels, thereby improving metabolism and overall body function.
Composition
Each Eutirox tablet contains Levothyroxine Sodium, in a concentration of 100 mcg, as well as excipients necessary for the product's formulation.
Contraindications
It is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to levothyroxine or any of the components of the formula. Furthermore, it should not be administered in cases of untreated hyperthyroidism, untreated adrenal insufficiency, and severe cardiovascular diseases, such as acute myocardial infarction or unstable angina.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with cardiovascular diseases, diabetes mellitus, or adrenal dysfunction. Clinical monitoring and dose adjustment according to the individual patient's needs are important. Use during pregnancy and lactation is not recommended unless strictly necessary and under the supervision of a physician.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at room temperature, out of reach of children. Keep the container tightly closed and protected from light.
