Indications

Etral-Tr Granules are indicated for the treatment of moderate to severe pain, which may be postoperative, oncological, or related to chronic conditions. This medication combines two analgesics: etoricoxib, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that acts by blocking the COX-2 enzyme, thereby reducing inflammation and pain. On the other hand, tramadol is an opioid analgesic that acts on the central nervous system, providing additional pain relief. Its use should be considered in patients who require a multimodal approach to pain management.

Composition

Each sachet of Etral-Tr Granules contains:

• Etoricoxib: 90 mg
• Tramadol: 50 mg

Contraindications

The use of Etral-Tr is not recommended in patients with a history of allergic reactions to any of the components of the formula. It is contraindicated in patients with severe renal insufficiency, severe hepatic insufficiency, and those who have had active peptic ulcers or gastrointestinal bleeding. Furthermore, use in combination with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) or in patients with a history of substance abuse should be avoided.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised when administering Etral-Tr to patients with a history of cardiovascular diseases, hypertension, asthma, or gastrointestinal diseases.
