Indications

Etral-Tr Granules are indicated for the treatment of moderate to severe pain, including acute postoperative pain and osteoarticular pain. Its formulation combines etoricoxib, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that acts by inhibiting cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2), and tramadol, an opioid analgesic that acts on opioid receptors in the central nervous system. This combination allows for effective pain management, providing relief in various painful conditions, as well as in situations of inflammation where a multimodal approach to pain control is required.

Composition

Each sachet of Etral-Tr Granules contains:

• Etoricoxib: 90 mg
• Tramadol: 50 mg

Contraindications

This medication is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to the components of the formula, a history of severe allergic reactions, severe renal or hepatic insufficiency, as well as in patients who are receiving monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) or who have consumed alcohol, sedatives, or hypnotics. Its use is not recommended in patients with a history of cardiovascular disease, gastritis, or active peptic ulcer.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised when administering Etral-Tr to patients with a history of seizure disorders, as well as in those at risk of substance abuse. It is important to monitor renal and hepatic function in patients receiving prolonged treatment. Its use during pregnancy and lactation is not recommended, unless strictly necessary and under medical supervision.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30 °C. Keep out of reach of children.
