Indications
Espidorm is indicated for the treatment of venous circulation disorders, such as chronic venous insufficiency, hemorrhoids, and other related disorders. Diosmin, its active ingredient, improves venous tone and decreases capillary permeability, which contributes to the reduction of symptoms such as heaviness, pain, and edema in the lower limbs. Additionally, it is used in the management of symptoms associated with hemorrhoids, including pain, inflammation, and discomfort. Espidorm should be administered under the supervision of a physician, who will determine the appropriate dose and duration of treatment according to the patient's clinical characteristics.
Composition
Each Espidorm tablet contains 500 mg of diosmin as the active ingredient, and excipients which may include microcrystalline cellulose, starch, magnesium stearate, and other inert compounds necessary for the drug's formulation.
Contraindications
It is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to diosmin or to any of the excipients in the formulation. Its use is not recommended in pregnant or breastfeeding women without adequate medical supervision.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of gastrointestinal disorders, as well as in those with pre-existing medical conditions. Medical follow-up is recommended during treatment, especially in cases of renal or hepatic insufficiency.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, protected from direct light and out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
