Indications

Espaven MD is indicated for the treatment of symptoms related to gastrointestinal disorders, including nausea, vomiting, and abdominal distension. Simethicone works by reducing the surface tension of gas bubbles in the gastrointestinal tract, facilitating their elimination. Metoclopramide, on the other hand, is a prokinetic agent that improves gastric emptying and reduces nausea and vomiting, being useful in cases of gastroenteritis, chemotherapy, and in patients with gastric dysmotility. This medication can be used in adults and adolescents over 12 years of age.

Composition

Each capsule of Espaven MD contains:

  • Simethicone: 40 mg
  • Metoclopramide: 10 mg

Contraindications

Espaven MD is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to the components of the formula, in those with a history of allergic reactions to metoclopramide, as well as in patients with mechanical obstruction of the gastrointestinal tract, gastrointestinal bleeding, or pheochromocytoma. Its use is also contraindicated in patients with uncontrolled epilepsy and in those with Parkinson's disease.

Precautions

Caution is recommended in patients with a history of motor disorders, depression, renal or hepatic insufficiency, and in pregnant or breastfeeding women. Prolonged use of metoclopramide may increase the risk of adverse effects, such as tardive dyskinesia. It is important to monitor patients on long-term treatment.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.

  1. Free home delivery by local branches on orders over $1000. Otherwise, a $50 fee will be added in the cities of Querétaro and La Paz, BCS, and $150 in San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, BCS.
  2. FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
  3. In case of oversized items, the corresponding fee will apply according to the parcel service.
