Indications
Eskapar Compuesto is indicated for the treatment of gastrointestinal infections caused by microorganisms sensitive to its components, such as acute and chronic diarrhea, as well as protozoal infections. It is used in the management of intestinal bacterial and parasitic infections, being useful for relieving associated symptoms such as abdominal pain and dehydration. It is important that the use of this medication be under medical supervision to ensure proper indication and follow-up of the treatment.
Composition
Each 100 ml of suspension contains:
Nifuroxazide: 4g
Metronidazole: 5g
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula. It should not be administered in cases of central nervous system diseases, as well as in patients with a history of hematological problems. Its use during the first trimester of pregnancy should be carefully evaluated by a physician.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with liver or kidney disease, as well as in those with a history of seizure disorders. It is advisable to avoid alcohol consumption during treatment with Metronidazole, as it can cause adverse reactions. Administration should be supervised by a physician, who will determine the duration and appropriate dose of treatment.
