Indications

Eskapar is indicated for the treatment of gastrointestinal infections caused by bacteria sensitive to nifuroxazide. It is effective in cases of acute diarrhea caused by bacteria, as well as in intestinal infections associated with dysbiosis. Additionally, it is used as an adjuvant in the treatment of infectious diarrhea, providing a direct antimicrobial effect in the intestine.

Composition

Each Eskapar capsule contains 400 mg of nifuroxazide as the active ingredient. It also contains excipients necessary for the drug's formulation.

Contraindications

Eskapar is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to nifuroxazide or any of the product's excipients. Furthermore, its use is not recommended in cases of diarrhea caused by systemic infections, or in situations where urgent medical intervention is required.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of severe gastrointestinal diseases. Prolonged use without medical supervision is not recommended. It is important not to use this medication in cases of diarrhea with blood or mucus, high fever, or symptoms of dehydration.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
