Indications
Eranz (Donepezil) is indicated for the treatment of Alzheimer's type dementia, both in its mild and moderate forms. Its use is intended to improve cognitive function and daily activities in patients diagnosed with this condition. In addition, it can be used in cases of mixed dementia, which includes characteristics of both Alzheimer's and other types of dementia. It has been shown that the administration of Donepezil can contribute to the improvement of memory, language, and other cognitive functions, as well as to the reduction of behavioral symptoms associated with dementia.
Composition
Each tablet contains: Donepezil hydrochloride equivalent to 10 mg of Donepezil.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Donepezil or to any of the excipients in the formulation. Caution should also be exercised in patients with a history of asthma or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, as this medication has been reported to cause increased bronchial secretions.
Precautions
It is recommended to monitor patients with a history of gastrointestinal problems, such as peptic ulcers or hemorrhages, as Donepezil may increase stomach acid secretion. In addition, it is important to evaluate liver and kidney function before starting treatment, as it has been observed that dose adjustments may be required in cases of liver failure. The use of Donepezil in combination with other medications that act on the central nervous system is not recommended without appropriate medical supervision.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30 °C. Keep out of reach of children.
