Indications
Enaladil-Duo is indicated for the treatment of arterial hypertension. This medication combines two active ingredients: Enalapril, an angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor, and Hydrochlorothiazide, a thiazide diuretic. The combination of these two drugs enhances the antihypertensive effect, allowing for better blood pressure control in patients with essential hypertension, as well as in those with congestive heart failure and kidney conditions. Its use must be supervised by a physician, who will evaluate the clinical response and adjust the dose as needed.
Composition
Each Enaladil-Duo tablet contains:
- Enalapril: 10 mg
- Hydrochlorothiazide: 25 mg
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to the components of the formula, as well as in those with a history of angioedema related to previous treatments with ACE inhibitors. It should not be used in patients with bilateral renal artery stenosis or in those with severe renal insufficiency. Likewise, it is contraindicated during pregnancy and lactation.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of cardiovascular diseases, diabetes mellitus, kidney disease, or those who are undergoing treatment with diuretics. Regular monitoring of blood pressure and renal function during treatment is important. Additionally, concomitant use with other medications that may cause hypotension is recommended to be avoided.

Store the medication in its original packaging at room temperature, protected from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
