Indications
Enaladil is indicated for the treatment of essential hypertension and congestive heart failure. It is also used in the therapy of patients with left ventricular dysfunction after myocardial infarction. This medication works by inhibiting angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE), which results in a decrease in the production of angiotensin II, a potent vasoconstrictor, thus promoting the reduction of blood pressure and improving heart function.
Composition
Each tablet contains: Enalapril 10 mg as active ingredient. Excipients: corn starch, talc, magnesium stearate, among others.
Contraindications
Enaladil is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to enalapril or any other component of the formula. It should not be administered to patients with a history of angioedema related to prior treatment with ACE inhibitors. It is contraindicated in patients with bilateral renal artery stenosis or renal artery stenosis in a single kidney.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of angioedema, renal insufficiency, or those undergoing diuretic treatment. It is advisable to monitor blood pressure and renal function during treatment. The possibility of adverse reactions should be considered in cases of major surgery or anesthesia, as well as in patients with diabetes mellitus who may be receiving hypoglycemic medications.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30 °C. Keep out of reach of children.
