Indications

Emicrox is indicated for the prevention of rejection in solid organ transplants, such as kidney, liver, and heart. It is also used in the treatment of autoimmune diseases, such as rheumatoid arthritis and severe psoriasis. Its use must be supervised by a specialist physician, who will determine the appropriate dose and necessary follow-up for each patient. Regular monitoring of cyclosporine levels in the blood is essential to adjust therapy and avoid side effects.

Composition

Each 100 ml of Emicrox contains: Cyclosporine 10 g. Excipients: benzyl alcohol, corn oil, glycerol, among others.

Contraindications

Emicrox is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to cyclosporine or to any of the excipients in the formulation. Its use is also not recommended in situations of severe active infections and in patients with severe hepatic or renal dysfunction. It is not recommended for administration during pregnancy and lactation, unless the physician considers it absolutely necessary.

Precautions

Special care should be taken in patients with a history of arterial hypertension, renal dysfunction, or those receiving other immunosuppressants. It is essential to monitor renal function and blood pressure levels during treatment. The administration of Emicrox can increase susceptibility to infections, so patients should be warned about the importance of avoiding risky situations.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30 degrees Celsius. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.

Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
