Indications
Electrolit Pediátrico is indicated for oral rehydration in children presenting with symptoms of mild to moderate dehydration. This product is especially useful in cases of diarrhea, vomiting, or fever, where a significant amount of fluids and electrolytes is lost. This electrolyte supplement helps restore fluid balance in the body, contributing to the recovery and well-being of the pediatric patient. Additionally, it can be used in situations where rapid rehydration is required, such as after intense physical activity or in hot climates.
Composition
Each 100 ml of Electrolit Pediátrico contains:
- Sodium chloride: 0.5 g
- Potassium chloride: 0.2 g
- Glucose: 2.5 g
- Other electrolytes (citrate, bicarbonate) in adequate amounts for rehydration.
Contraindications
Electrolit Pediátrico is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula. It should not be used in cases of severe dehydration or when the patient presents complications requiring intravenous treatment. Likewise, its use is not recommended in situations where the patient cannot tolerate fluid intake.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with kidney disease, as the use of electrolytes may worsen their condition. Likewise, monitoring is recommended for diabetic patients due to the presence of glucose in the formula. It is important to follow the instructions of a healthcare professional regarding dosage and duration of treatment.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, protected from sunlight. Once opened, it is recommended to consume the product within 24 hours, keeping it refrigerated.

- FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
