Indications
Electrolit Pediátrico is indicated for oral rehydration in children with mild to moderate dehydration due to diarrhea, vomiting, or excessive sweating. It is especially useful in situations where intravenous fluid administration is not possible or not indicated. Its formulation is designed to replenish lost electrolytes and fluids, helping to restore the body's water and electrolyte balance.
Additionally, it is recommended in cases of dehydration due to fever or infectious diseases involving fluid loss. It can also be used as a supplement during episodes of intense physical activity in warm climates, where additional electrolyte intake is required.
Composition
Each 100 ml of Electrolit Pediátrico contains: Sodium chloride, sodium bicarbonate, potassium chloride, dextrose, and purified water. These components work together to provide an isotonic solution that promotes the absorption of fluids and electrolytes in the intestine.
Contraindications
Electrolit Pediátrico is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to any of its components. It should not be administered in cases of severe renal failure, intestinal obstruction, or conditions requiring restriction of fluid or electrolyte intake, unless indicated by a healthcare professional.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with cardiovascular diseases, renal failure, or those who are taking medications that affect electrolyte balance. It is recommended to monitor hydration status and response to treatment, especially in children and in patients with pre-existing medical conditions.

- FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
