Indications

Electrolit is an oral solution indicated for rehydration and electrolyte replacement in cases of dehydration of various etiologies. Its use is recommended in situations such as diarrhea, vomiting, intense exercise, high fever, and in cases of extreme heat. It is also useful for preventing dehydration in patients at high risk due to chronic diseases or in situations of significant fluid loss. This product is especially relevant in the management of dehydration in children and adults, as well as in athletes who require rapid recovery of electrolytes lost during physical activity.

Composition

Each 100 mL of Electrolit contains:

  • Sodium chloride: 0.9 g
  • Potassium chloride: 0.4 g
  • Glucose: 2.5 g
  • Sodium citrate: 0.3 g

Contraindications

Electrolit is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to any of its components, as well as in those with severe renal failure, hyperkalemia, or in situations where the administration of fluids and electrolytes may be detrimental. Caution should be exercised in its use in patients with heart disease or those requiring strict electrolyte monitoring.

Precautions

It is recommended to use Electrolit under medical supervision in cases of metabolic diseases, kidney disorders, or heart conditions. It is important to assess the patient's hydration status and adjust the dose as needed. It should not be used as a substitute for adequate medical care in severe cases of dehydration.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, at temperatures not exceeding 25°C. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.

  1. Free home delivery by local branches on orders over $1000. Otherwise, a $50 fee will be added in the cities of Querétaro and La Paz, BCS, and $150 in San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, BCS.
  2. FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
  3. In case of oversized items, the corresponding fee will apply according to the parcel service.
