Indications
Edarbi Cld is indicated for the treatment of essential hypertension in adults. The combination of Azilsartan Medoxomil and Chlorthalidone acts synergistically to provide effective blood pressure control, reducing the risk of cardiovascular complications associated with hypertension. This medication can be used as initial therapy or as complementary treatment in patients who do not achieve adequate blood pressure control with monotherapy.
Composition
Each tablet contains: Azilsartan Medoxomil 40 mg and Chlorthalidone 12.5 mg.
Contraindications
Edarbi Cld is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of its components, in those with a history of angioedema, as well as in patients with severe renal failure or anuria. It is also contraindicated in pregnant and breastfeeding women, unless deemed necessary by the physician.
Precautions
Caution is recommended in patients with a history of kidney disease, liver disease, diabetes mellitus, or in those taking other antihypertensive medications. It is important to monitor blood pressure and electrolytes during treatment to prevent electrolyte imbalances and adverse effects.
Storage
Store at room temperature, between 15°C and 30°C, in a dry place protected from light. Keep out of reach of children.
